If I had to list a downside, it would be the battery life—such a small device (50 mm × 15 mm × 61 mm) can only house a built-in 18500 battery with a 1500 mAh capacity, providing a maximum runtime of around 30 minutes, depending on settings and environmental conditions. Unfortunately, there’s no option to swap in a freshly charged battery. However, you can shorten session times to 3 minutes to preserve battery life, and USB-C charging means you won’t have to wait too long before getting the OONT back in action.

The OONT’s unique Quick Clean feature is a brilliant design move: pressing the mouthpiece down while the chamber lid is open ejects all used herbs in one swift motion, eliminating the need to dig around for a stirring tool. That said, I’d still recommend keeping a good scoop handy for reloading the capsule.

With such an amazing, innovative, and truly tiny device, it’s easy to forget how incredibly affordable the OONT is. The value of this device does not come at the expense of usability or build quality. If you’re looking for something with a larger battery capacity, there are plenty of options, but in this price range, there’s nothing better than the OONT. These days, it takes a lot to impress us at Vapefiend, but the OONT has certainly made an impact!
