Proxy Shape and Design: At first glance, Proxy looks very different from most concentrate vaporizers. It doesn’t resemble a vape pen or a classic electric setup. Instead, it looks like an old-fashioned Sherlock-style pipe, similar to those seen with grandparents or in old movies. The glass piece is balanced and ergonomically fits in hand, with a flat stable base.

This modular construction allows the base to be used with various compatible glass bodies from Puffco or third parties. Puffco already offers the Bub, a glass tube with water filtration.
This modular design opens up many customization options and makes Proxy one of the first vapes with a replaceable heating element.
Heating Element and Puffco Proxy 3D Chamber: Proxy utilizes advanced Puffco 3D ceramic coils, where the heating wire is embedded in the chamber walls.
Unlike conventional coils that receive heat only from the bottom, this system distributes heat from all sides. This heating system, combined with precise temperature control, prevents extracts from evaporating before application and ensures consistent results.
Using the Proxy Vaporizer: Proxy is a cold-load vaporizer, meaning it needs to be loaded before heating. You can use the included dab tool, which is suitable for loose and non-sticky extracts. For sticky extracts, we recommend using a "hot-load" tool, such as the CrossingTech Mini Buddy HDT.
The tip heats up and melts the concentrate in the center of the coils instead of scraping it from the sidewalls of the chamber with the included tool. Using a hot knife extends coil lifespan, prevents extract loss, and improves efficiency. Once you've loaded the chamber with material, place the Carp Cap and hold the button for three seconds to activate Proxy. A single button press allows you to select between four temperature settings, with blue being the lowest and white the highest.
Vapor Quality: Proxy’s vapor quality is impressive. It produces creamy, full-bodied flavor with high terpene content. Unlike vape pens, Proxy has a large mouthpiece that allows vapor to cool before inhalation. Due to the tried-and-true design of traditional pipes, excess heat dissipates into the air rather than into the mouthpiece or onto the face.
Proxy stays hot for approximately four to six draws before automatically shutting off. You can extend the session by double-tapping the button. Extracts are currently the fastest-growing vaporization category, and Proxy lowers the entry barrier with its ease of use. It is much more convenient than a traditional dab rig while being extremely versatile.
Battery Life: The compact "all-in-one" design means a smaller battery. We managed approximately 5–6 sessions per charge before the battery drained. Charging takes about 60 minutes on average. Proxy has a USB-C port, making it easy to charge anywhere. When you triple-click the button, the current battery level is displayed with green, orange, or red light.
